[00:00:18] Speaker B: This is another money show. Get set for another hour of the latest financial information and economic news affecting your bottom line. J.R. and Anthony are committed to helping more Americans like you optimize their inc. Reduce their tax risk and reach financial freedom. So let's start the show. Here are your hosts, Anthony Correio and JR Rochford.
[00:00:42] Speaker C: Here we are, your hosts, Anthony Correo and JR Rochford, taking a break from our day to day as financial advisors with Rochford and Associates, a fully independent fourth generation veteran owned family office right here in Sun City. To bring information you may not find on those other financial radio shows, we're where the last thing you need is another money show. But we appreciate you being here and Jared, I'm sure has a ton of current events he wants to talk about. But this is breaking news on June 12th and probably really the only thing that matters as far as I'm concerned is that there's going to be a Spaceballs sequel. Mel Brooks just announced it like an hour ago.
So we're going to have Spaceballs and the quest for more money. And I'm very excited about that. Use the Schwartz. How, how it's supposed to come out in 2027. Mel Brooks is already like 140.
So how he's going to make it, I have no idea. But I'm rooting for him.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: You know what I'm noticing? You are so half full and I am so half empty. When you said there's only one breaking news story, I'm like, yeah, are you watching your Boeing stock? I mean I don't want to bring you down from Spaceballs to this, but the only breaking news I really was on top of this morning. There's been another plane crash. I don't know.
[00:01:57] Speaker C: I mean I only down 4%. What are we looking at year to date? Oh, it's up 18%, of course. And over the last year it's up 11%. Over the last five years it's up 7%. Because the stock market cares about what JR nothing. Doesn't care about anything. It never go down more money. People don't care.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: The 30 companies that make up the Teflon Dow.
So yeah, I mean I'll jump right into it.
[00:02:23] Speaker C: Well, yeah, they got to give all those government contracts that they're taken from Elon away to somebody obviously going to go to come hold up Boeing stock.
[00:02:32] Speaker A: We are going to talk a little bit about some of the government contracts in a little bit here. So. But to finish up with this plane, I'm sure you've heard about it by now.
As Anthony said, Today's 12 June, it was in India and it was a 787 Dreamliner. Apparently there was over 240 passengers. It was going to England, I guess. So they were mostly British and apparently there are no survivors. So we're waiting to hear how it plays out. It's a scary time. I mean, there's a lot of plane crashes. I texted my old next door neighbor John a couple of times this week. There was a small plane crash in California yesterday. I mean, it just seems like there's a lot of. Or maybe we just because we have such instant access news. I don't know.
[00:03:13] Speaker C: You know, it's just the instant access. The news like when they made a big deal of it earlier in the year, year to date from the year previous was actually more. It just wasn't getting the press and.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: We'Ve had Internet access for so long. I mean, I'm just surprised who's picking and choosing what to focus on. I mean, who's picking and choosing that now? Plane crash is the 2025 thing to watch. Although we've got a couple other things to talk about to watch. But I just. And it's, I mean, it's kind of scary, it's kind of sad. There's just, there's a lot going on, you know, I mean, why do we do this show? We want you prepared and not SC scared. We want you proactive and not reactive. We know that it's way safer to drive a car than it is to fly in a plane. Wait, no, that's backwards. It's way safer to fly in a plane than drive a car. Especially we work in Sun City, so holy cow. The fact that we actually make it to the office every day is a miracle. Anyway, so something I want to bring up today. I really don't have any shout outs. I didn't talk to anybody. I just got back last night from four days in Laughlin, Nevada. Shout out to Laughlin. That's a fun little city. Jet skiing and swimming and riverboats.
There's a casino there. So you can, if you want to gamble, you can do that. But it was, it was very mellow. The food's good, everything was fun. So you Know one thing, that if I won big, I was going to ask you, Anthony, to do the show with Sam without me, because I thought, you know, I could use another day or two. I actually got to relax. But I didn't. I didn't hit big, but I. Something that, that I want to bring up to people. We've never missed a show. We've been on since, what, March of 2022. So we've been on over three years and we have never repeated a show. We've never missed a week. It doesn't matter if it's Christmas week or whatever. When Sandy and I were talking about staying on the day, I was like, no, I really need to get back. You know, we've got stuff to talk about on the show and I need to be there. So I just. I wanted to pat ourselves on the back real quick for the fact that we've never missed a show. I did get hit by rubber bullets. I was in a small traffic stop. I went through LA on my way home, so I got pelted, got welts all over me. Do you want to jump right into la? Should we talk about it? Because I know, Anthony, you think it's nothing. I'm sure nothing's going to happen.
My thing, when we started, we brought up 10 pillars of what to watch for. We haven't gone over them for a while, so maybe I'll take a second to read what they are. But the final pillar is this country changing via civil war. I mean, I think there's going to be a stock market crash, a housing market crash. A lot of stuff's going to happen, but what's going to be the trigger? I mean, if some people, I would say more agitators and disruptors have their way, it's going to be civil war. You had four years of over open borders. You let in all kinds of people and you didn't track them and you don't know who they are. And last week, Anthony, you gave me a little bit of grief about saying, I want to close the borders to every country, every person. I want to sort out our own stuff. I feel way more strong about that today because you know what I did, unfortunately, while I was in Laughlin, I still picked up my phone and looked at some of the news. I get a ton of texts and emails from people because it's not just Michael C In Sun City. We get a lot of people that want stuff covered. And even when I'm on vacation, I look at those texts. Apparently, a lot of people are nervous about The LA riots. I'm not as worried as I probably normally would be because I think Arizona is still an unusual animal. I think there's a whole bunch of people in Arizona that are armed. I think there's a. I think it would be not the best choice. LA is used to it. I mean, come on, every two years they ride over something. You know, I watched the Rodney King thing when I was young.
I mean, you know, O.J. simpson, I watch all these things that are going on. Like, well, that's LA, you know, that's Chicago, that's Baltimore, that's St. Louis, that's Detroit. It's. It's not Phoenix. I'm in this week. Somebody sent me a clip. Actually, it was my cousin Frank. Thank you. Frank sent me a clip of some stuff going on downtown that's sketchy with, you know, people are still shuffling around, migrants. And there was a video that came in. I don't know if it was Frank or somebody else. At the same time, there was a little sky scuffle in Peoria on like 67th Avenue in Peoria, and it grew legs quickly. How do these people show up so quickly? So I don't know. It can happen anywhere. I know that this Saturday is a. Presumably going to be a big day. Anthony, have you heard what's coming up on Saturday? Sam?
[00:07:33] Speaker C: No Kings.
[00:07:35] Speaker A: No Kings? What does that mean? You know anything about it?
No, I know nothing about that. I've actually heard nothing about the LA riots other than that picture or whatever Facebook post that you sent me, jr. So you get your information from JR at another money show? I. I live in Atlanta. The LA riots are of no concern to me, actually. But they are. You're one of the cities that's one of the hubs coming up on Saturday. There's several different major hubs and Atlanta is supposed to be one of them. So. But let me talk for a second about no Kings. It. A week ago, when I first heard about it, they said basically that there's a couple organizations that are setting up 1500 different gatherings. You know, we had that on what, June?
I don't know. We've had this a couple times this year where small groups gather. But it was supposed to be, the goal was 1500 gatherings around the country, and now it's up to 1800. So I guess it's getting big.
There's a lot of paid protesters. When I say disruptors and agitators, you know, I was hearing a guy on the radio this morning being interviewed, young kid being paid $200 a day. They're going to give him a map where there's pallets of bricks. They're coaching the person on what kind of shoes to wear, what kind of attire to have, what kind of extra clothes and where to put it in case you have to get out of there quickly. Talks about keeping small concealable weapons in case you're in a immediate altercation. It was very fascinating that there's people being trained. We. Where's all the money coming from? You know, there's some dude living in China that I was just hearing about this morning that's a big funder. You know, we always jump to George Soros right now. But so anyway, so it's over 18. You know, there's only 50 states and it is supposed to take place. Our one in Arizona is going to be at the Wesley Bolin Plaza, 9 o' clock start time. Anthony, in case you, you want to head down there. So good that it's an early start time because it gets awfully hot here in Phoenix.
But so there's 50 states. There's at least one of these gatherings, protests, whatever you want to call it, in each of the 50 states, one of the hubs is Phoenix. I can send you both a map if you're interested to see it. Anthony, it's so funny because I know you're like, nothing's going to happen. It's just blah, blah, blah.
[00:09:52] Speaker C: No, I just, I love that they're executing their First Amendment rights. That's the beauty of this country.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: I do, too. But you know what? When you start looting small businesses, when you start looting big businesses, I don't care if it's the Apple store or mom and Pop grocery store, it doesn't matter when you start taking somebody else's other livelihood down, when you start smashing cop cars, when you start throwing bricks, when you start throwing frozen water bottles, you know, there's a big difference, beat, I think, between violence and our First Amendment rights. Once you violate my rights, whether I'm a rooftop Korean, no matter who I am, once you violate my rights, you lost your First Amendment rights. You go out of this country, you go to jail, something happens to you. So I think it's bigger than their rights. Protest. You know, sometimes to have a protest, you're supposed to get a permit.
Are you telling me that there's like 1800 permits for this Saturday?
And do I think this is going to grow legs? I don't know. Let me share with you. I pulled off, of course, last night, sat down on my desk and pulled off A bunch of articles just to have sources in case I need to send them people. One of the sources I got is from June 3rd.
So this is early information versus what I was seeing, you know, the last couple days. It's from USA Today. I guess that's a reputable publication. I've heard of it. So no Kings protest planned against Trump military parade See when and where. There's a lot of interactive maps. So whatever city you're in, if you want to see the closest protest that help you. So thousands of no Kings protests against President Donald Trump's military parade are taking place on June 14th across the US as activists reject Trump's birthday plans to feed his ego with what they say is a lavage. Lavage. It's a savage and lavish. It's a lavish display of dominance organized by Indivisible a progressive activist group partnering with groups including 50 501. I think that's 50 states, 50 riots one day or something. The anti Trump nationwide movement dubbed no Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance will coincide with the US Army's 250th birthday and parade and Trump's 79th birthday. 79. I want a president that's 59 again, not 79.
The massive cavalcade complete with horses, soldiers, tanks, warplanes and more will take place in Washington D.C. with Trump in attendance. It's also Flag Day. So it's Trump's birthday. Big parade. The big parade thing confuses me because when I picture military parade I don't picture the United States of America. I picture North Korea. I picture goose stepping soldiers and so I'm not sure about the optics on that one. Donald Trump, if you're listening that one I'm not. I'm confused. You know what my heartburn is though? Because we are another money show. How the hell much I've heard it's over a hundred million dollars to do this brain. If that is true, you know you've got the organization is massive Secret Service, the movement of troops. When you're looking at doing this, stop spending money. I don't give a crap what side of the aisle you're on. So my heartburn is the money. But anyway it's your birthday and good for you Flag Day. So it's, it's, this is I guess a good day to notice this. Phoenix, Arizona 9 Till Nude Arizona state capital 1700 West Washington street if you want to show up Anthony, I guess I'll go with you. I would be probably more likely to stay home on Saturday and not that I'm Paranoid. You know the old thing when they were, you know, when there's, whenever there's a terrorist attack after 9, 11, they're like, you can't let the bad guys win. You have to carry on your normal routines. You have to do your day to day life or else they won.
I would say on this one because it seems so large and I find so much on it. Probably stay home this Saturday. You know, if you got to go to work, go to work. I mean if you have to do stuff, do stuff. But just to be out to look at it or to videotape it, I'm not sure. I just, but I'm, you know, I'm somebody who's been mildly worried about the future of our country for long enough where I'm like, I think it's going to, some little spark is going to set us off. You know the videos And Anthony, when you talk about First Amendment rights, you do, you really should go online and look at some of the clips. Get, you know, mainstream news. They can't even hide it. It's pretty massive in la.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: And what if there's, I think there's a lot more to it than that. Of course there's little pockets of violence, but that doesn't mean that it's all like that. But I don't know. You don't know because of course the narrative of there's violence and chaos sells better. So you're never going to get the full story. But seeing reporters get shot at, seeing like that's obnoxious. Okay though, so you started it did the police started. That's a great, the, the peaceful protesters started. Who knows, I don't know. And I don't think we'll ever get a full story unless we're actually there.
[00:15:05] Speaker A: And I think the more you dig the digging that I've done, I've looked at both sides. I've watched the clip with Maxine Water. She even actually came out and said there's no violence. She said there's no violence. No matter what you hear and what you've seen, there's no violence. We have the video clips from the mainstream, abc, cbs, NBC. And there is violence. There is definitely violence. There is definitely stuff going on. LA is a massive city, Anthony. No, it can't take place in the entire city, but there's pockets of where this is going on. We'll watch Saturday and then we'll see what's going on. But as much as I asked Sam.
[00:15:43] Speaker C: Because I know you've been traveling, have you watched Mountainhead yet. Just came out on hbo Max.
[00:15:48] Speaker A: Nope, just heard about it right now.
[00:15:49] Speaker C: So.
Interesting movie, but I'm going to. It kind of goes to your point, J.R. about, you know, there's no violence. There is violence. The whole movie is on the premise of all these tech companies releasing AI.
And the AI is so good at creating deep fakes that people are creating deep fakes to say that things happened that didn't happen to create a real uprising, which is kind of like what we're seeing now. Like the news is leaving out big chunks of this story. So is there violence? Probably. I mean, I've seen it. Could we get to the point where that's so good that we can have deep fakes create fake violence to incite real violence? I thought that was fascinating and apparently.
[00:16:38] Speaker A: We can be going that direction pretty easily. AI is, is the big girl in the room. You know, there's a lot of people, a lot of people are focusing on that. The one big beautiful bill of Trump's and saying that none of it, they're all going to spend, doesn't matter what party, they're all going to do the same things. But this suppression of AI state, state by state, this, this federal oversight of AI is the only thing you need to worry about about that bill. I just read this morning the game manufacturer Mattel is rolling out all of their new products using AI. What the hell does that mean? Does that mean AI? Does that mean robots are making the puzzles and the game pieces? Does it mean, I mean, how does AI and Mattel match up? I have to dig into it. But when I heard that, I was like, AI is everywhere and it's brand new. This is 1995 AOL dial up, Internet level stuff. AI is going to be the wave of the future.
Can it create deep fakes that make it look like LA is on fire when it's really not? Of course it can. Look at the CGI in movies, for Pete's sake. Look at War of the Worlds when I was a kid.
Different day now. You could convince me that there is a zombie apocalypse or a cannibal takeover, you know, by showing me enough clips.
So is it possible? Of course. But Anthony, what I think that is, it doesn't matter if it's deep fake. It doesn't matter if it's really what's going on in big cities on June 14th. I think we're fragile this, and this is small. We're a small country. We're a little fish in a big world. You know, the bigger thing, like news is going to be taken over later today by the plane crash in India. So talk about being global. I mean, I just heard it this morning and then by the time I was ready to record, it was on all the channels.
You know, if I'd say the biggest story in the planet right now isn't being talked about because we want to talk about the LA riots and a plane crash, Iran and Israel.
Basically Trump said to Israel, back down, now is not a good time to attack Iran. I don't think they're going to listen. So we're going to be sucked into the biggest war we've ever had, I think, with Iran. So keep that in mind. Bless you, Sam. Sam just sneezed. Even though he's muted, I could see it. So bless you, my son. So the biggest story on the planet is going to be Iran. They're not going to stop enriching uranium. They've basically said, no, Israel is. They can't have Iran have nukes. The United States cannot have Iran have nukes. So all this is going to go away. But just the immediate in our face.
I know that you are way more mellow than me with things. You're like, it's all, man, we've had civil wars, it's, you know, we'll get through another one. I don't know. I mean, when I was looking at the ten pillars this morning, I actually brought out my original sheet from the very first show we did, because this show was starting out with what to worry about with your finances. It was dated 7th February 2022.
So the original 10 pillar sheet was I printed out for our first show, but I printed out on February 7th, by the way, a couple of interesting things. Pillar number one, the debt and deficit pillar, it tipped 29 trillion on December 1st, 21st, on February 1st, 22nd. So fast forwarding a year, it was at. It tipped 30 trillion. What's it at now? 36 something trillion.
[00:20:14] Speaker C: Just 37.
[00:20:15] Speaker A: Yeah. And what's it really. Because we're under a debt ceiling suspension right now. The clock's moving. I mean, you can go to us debtclock.org and watch it, but there's going to be a big huge jump when they actually do the budget or when they stop the suspension, the debt ceiling. So it's gonna climb over 40 trillion here soon. What's the tipping point? Is it 40, is it 50? Or is it the rest of the world saying knock it off, The BRICS currencies are taking over, you know, Zimbabwe, we've got a woman I'm talking to later today whose mom bought a trillion dollar Zimbabwe note 20 years ago. And I don't know how to tell her this, but it's absolutely worthless. They don't even have their currency anymore. They went to a gold type currency which Zimbabwe is. The inflation there, it's, it's actually amazing. They've had 100% a day inflation in the past. So anyway, so are the rest of the country is going to say enough to us?
So I, I mean, I really think that we're going through the pillars, you know, we've been on for three years. We're going through the pillars completely like we said we would three years ago. Let me, you know, as long as it's in my hand, let me finish up. Number two is financial markets. Volatility manipulation, stock repurchasing. Let's see here. Bail in cryptocurrencies. We talked about NFTs. When's the last time we had to talk about non fungible tokens?
[00:21:39] Speaker C: They lost 90%, 90, 95% of their value and nobody cares anymore.
[00:21:45] Speaker A: Crypto, fine.
[00:21:47] Speaker C: Cryptocurrency, which is not a currency still totally okay and on the board. But NFTs, all of a sudden that, that fad went away real well.
[00:21:56] Speaker A: So did tulips and pet rocks and Beanie Babies. So will Bitcoin.
[00:22:00] Speaker C: You know, that's a Beanie Baby fad now.
[00:22:02] Speaker A: Oh great, that's good. We probably started it. People probably listening to the show were like, oh, I remember those. They were cute. I want the little purple turtle.
[00:22:09] Speaker C: This one's something out of China.
It's a new brand, but it's there.
[00:22:18] Speaker A: So it's going to be a dollar, but then with the tariffs it's going to be 14.50. Nice. I hope it's in McDonald's Happy Meals. I remember people waiting in line to get Happy Meals and they didn't have kids. So moving on. Taxes going up? Yeah, probably, but only for the middle class, not the rich or the poor. Inflation, this, this, mind you, this was February of 2022. I had this list ready for us. Potential for hyperinflation. That's, that's definitely the last three years inflation's been on the table. Hyperinflation is still in the wings. Health care, are we going to have Medicare for all? You know, how is long term care insurance going to play out? How's Medicaid, Social Security, disability, VA disability, et cetera. Number six was unfunded and underfunded liabilities. You know, I called Social Security a Ponzi scheme. Let me know how wrong I am on that one. Pensions, both private and public, are broke. So what's going to happen with the pension guarantee fund? None of this happens next Wednesday. I get that it's all slow rolling, but fast forward three years and tell me the 10 pillars aren't exactly going the way we thought they would. You know, we just talked about the federal, the Fers pension. Haven't heard a result to that yet. But we just talked about the Fers pensions recently. They're going south.
Erosion of the middle class. I have always said the rich get richer, the poor hover in, the middle class shrink. I think I'm on track number eight. Social media, politics, incivility were so polarized, I had to remove another friend. This. This guy really is a friend. Anthony. You'd know him. He was a guy we used to network with. You know, I put out a meme. I try to stay so apolitical on Facebook. I only want a presence because we have a radio show, you know, this morning. Thank you very much, Shelby. We put out the thing that shows we have 275,000 views on our YouTube shorts channel. So I put that out. But I don't put things pro Trump, negative Trump. You know, I put things that are funny and it gets people so worked up. And this is a guy that, you know, reasonable man, from what I remember. So, Anthony, I'll tell you later who it is, but I got rid of him because I'm like, I didn't put this on there to fight. It's just funny. It's just funny. So social media, that's a train wreck. Number nine, geopolitical missteps. Let me read what's on here. Russia slash Ukraine. We were waiting for them to go into Russia and Ukraine when we started here three years ago. Well, they have gone in. So China and Taiwan, that I think still going to happen. Russia plus China against the United States. North Korea going against whoever. And then Iran versus USA and Israel. Open borders. I said to you people three years ago, watch out for open borders. You know, that could come back to bite us. I think that starts this Saturday.
So. And then number 10, Civil War. I think, do I think Saturday is going to be a caveat? I think it way more than. Anthony, you probably would. I mean, I think if it goes well for people, I think if they can overwhelm the police and they can, you know, make the big news story, chaos in 50 states instead of a military parade and their. Their mission was accomplished.
[00:25:16] Speaker C: I mean, you already Said, you think military parade, you think goose stepping and you think North Korea. Like, don't you think there's, there's something to that? Like, do you not think Trump's little overstepping lately into the march down the.
[00:25:31] Speaker A: Street and do anything you want and vote and do all the stuff you should do. But if you, if I see video clips, whether they're deep fake or not, I don't know how I would tell Anthony. So you're right. But what do I do about it if I see videos of them setting things on fire or hurting police officers? And I don't give a crap if it's a police officer, a baker.
[00:25:51] Speaker C: So should we not have dumped the tea into the ocean?
[00:25:54] Speaker A: What the hell are you talking.
How does that relate to.
[00:25:57] Speaker C: All I'm saying is it's fighting against the government. That's what.
[00:25:59] Speaker A: Dumping tea in the ocean and beating up cops. Going to put those together. Do I think taxation without representation, do I think that, you know, we should free ourselves from Britain? Right. You know, the, the protest is no kings, so maybe that's exactly what this is. But instead of looting small business owners, you know, find another way to, to get your point across. And I'm still.
[00:26:19] Speaker C: I think we should just give up and go back to Britain and become a colony again. And I think we, we save a lot of hassle. I think there's a lot less to fight about.
No more states.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Okay, well, and, and you know, we're trying to get Canada to come with us so maybe we can go to Britain and we can all be one big happy family.
[00:26:40] Speaker C: And then it's just been one world order. And that's what Britain has been planning this whole time.
[00:26:45] Speaker A: Britain is.
[00:26:45] Speaker C: This is what the Queen had wanted. The Queen's not.
[00:26:48] Speaker A: We gotta take a break. The Queen wants you to shut the heck up. We gotta take a break. Why don't we do this? Is there still a Queen over there? Didn't she kick it?
So let's do this. Let's take a break. We greatly appreciate you being here. I didn't mean to spend half the show on Saturday, but, you know, I guess we'll see if it turns out to be a nothing burger or not. So do us a favor and go to our YouTube channel. Keep that thing growing. We want, we want to keep that thing growing. You know, we're not, we're little tiny fish. So we appreciate your help and I can tell you we definitely need your help and reach out to us if we can be of any assistance to you. We'd be honored to be a second opinion on your finances. Welcome back to Another Money Show. Thank you so much for being with us. I hope as you're listening to this on Saturday you stay safe. And if, if you're curious about the protest and you want to be already.
[00:28:26] Speaker C: Happening, World War 3 is on the cusp. Everybody is dead.
[00:28:31] Speaker A: Well, Anthony, it's funny you say that because the stuff with Iran and Israel and then we'll get dug into it. We, we might all be dead. Everything I said, I, I'm. You might have to apologize to me for being.
[00:28:43] Speaker C: I'll be dead. I'll never have to apologize. That's the best thing. You don't believe I will be dead and then I won't have to worry about it.
[00:28:50] Speaker A: I know we're going to two different places, but maybe they have long distance cell phones and you can talk to me. You can look up and wave to me. You.
So anyway, so let's talk for a few more minutes. This show, I guess we're gonna do all riot today. This show, Sam, during the break we talk about it, of course. And Sam was like what good does it do? Because Sam said that there's in the Atlanta area being by the capitol might be more dangerous than some of the suburb, you know, protests.
My thing, it's like, you know, Sam, if you can go to one of the safe ones and take some video and be boots on the ground and see how many people show up, I would love that. Do I want you to go to the Capitol? No. When Anthony offered to go to our capitol, I was okay with that because Anthony's on my nerves today. I want to, I want Anthony to be proven wrong almost personally. And I love Anthony. He's my stepson. I care about him.
It's so funny because, are you kidding me?
[00:29:43] Speaker C: I'm gonna go inside the riots just so you can be right. These are the things I do for you.
[00:29:47] Speaker A: And if you promise to do that, I'll go to. I'll wear my face mask so people don't spit on me. By the way, spitting on cops, that's degrading. That's. That's another thing that I saw a bunch of videos on that I'm like, I would beat you. What's the thing from Christmas vacation? If I had a rubber hose, I would beat you with it. So Sam. But Sam asked a very important question. What good is all this going to do?
I guess part of my question, if it's for awareness, to the fact that we elected a king in this country, because the protest is called no kings. So apparently they're saying you elected a dictator. You know, you elected a king. So if this is going to bring awareness and you're going to vote differently in three and a half years, then I guess your mission accomplished. I don't think that has anything to do with this. When you're paying young people a couple hundred bucks a day and telling them where a pallet of bricks is, you're not just trying to get this young person to vote differently next time. When you get money from China and you get money from different people, different 501c threes, and different organizations, this is.
[00:30:49] Speaker C: Like the BRICS thing. Real, though. You see pictures of stuff, but again, you take a picture and.
[00:30:55] Speaker A: I know, I know. Deep fake. Yeah, it's all Joe and I.
[00:30:58] Speaker C: And I asked that. That's actually a very sincere question because I have always been curious. It was like, obviously they're hiring these people from somewhere. Like, could I.
[00:31:06] Speaker A: Well, there's a ton of videos.
[00:31:07] Speaker C: I mean, if it's real. If it's real. I'm not saying that. It's not saying that is. But I was like, could you figure.
[00:31:13] Speaker A: That out in 2020 before we talked about AI and deepfakes? You know, I mean, that was only five years ago. They found them in Phoenix, they found them at the convention, they found them around the country. So, yeah, I'd say it's real.
It's. And my whole thing, we'll see if these grow legs, we'll find out how real it is. But I'm guessing that when you have money coming into these things, it's agitators and disruptors. It's not peaceful.
[00:31:40] Speaker C: Protesters get there at 8am I'm gonna get there early. I'm gonna go look for bricks. I'll bring my own just in case there aren't any.
[00:31:48] Speaker A: What's so funny is half me wants you to go and half me doesn't. Right Now, I am 50.
[00:31:52] Speaker C: I don't think I got anything going on Saturday morning. And we'll find. Oh, that's the start of Mars, though. Oh, you can watch the monster starts at 6am our time, so you can.
[00:32:02] Speaker A: Watch 19 hours of Le Mans start at noon our time. So make your little happy way down there. I'm actually now, I think you should go. I think if there's any, you know, things start getting riotous, maybe you should leave. But, yeah, I think you should go now.
[00:32:13] Speaker C: Long as I got wi fi, I can just watch the race from the riot.
[00:32:16] Speaker A: There you go.
[00:32:17] Speaker C: Keep the race and the riot separately.
[00:32:19] Speaker A: Maybe you can find a big pile of bricks and sit down Indian style on top of it. Wait, Native American style on top of it.
You know what's funny? We're making light of this, but this isn't going to be nearly as funny on Sunday. If things go south, well, then it'll.
[00:32:36] Speaker C: Be kind of funny.
Or it could be happening right now. That's when we air. Well, if you listen at noon. If you listen at 5am we're very, very early. But unless they start the writing early, why even wait? I just don't even understand 5am you're upset. Go riot right now.
[00:32:51] Speaker A: What do you not.
What is the point of this form of protest? Like, I feel like boycotting is an effective form of protest, but most often what you see is younger people holding signs with. They've just got a lot of free time. And young people get these signs where.
Well, I just feel like young people are more Joanne's. Joanne's funds came in and ruined bankruptcies.
[00:33:14] Speaker C: They were all successful companies. And you've got private equity coming in and running it into the ground to create money for rich shareholders. Because that's what the US does create it as. There's no anything money. We make money, we make more of money. Money is not a real thing. It's an exchange of goods. It's used to exchange goods, but there's no goods in money. And the US Is the best at making money, which is nothing, on top of money, which is still nothing.
[00:33:42] Speaker A: You're correct. Now back to Sam's question.
So you just made my point. 100%. You made my 100%. You made my point. What is the purpose of this? What is this going to do for anybody? Absolutely nothing. If when I said earlier, if it makes you change Your vote, you know, so be it. If it makes you think that the country needs to change, let's start changing the country. But once you burn flags, spit on cops, once you do this, I don't think it has anything to do with. With people that wanna change the country. I think this is 100% manufactured to create an insurrection, to create a problem. And then Trump is gonna have to come in and apply martial law. Like, you know, kind of happened during COVID So we had a little trial run. Don't tell me we didn't have martial law. When they told you you can't go to work or you can't go to a bank, don't tell me it wasn't martial law. So. And if that happens, then half the country that hates Trump, and you know, you've heard the term Trump derangement syndrome, they are going, we told you. Here's the analogy. I will give you. I'm driving. You cut me off. I blow my horn. First of all, just reactionary. But I want you to know, you cut me off, you give me the finger. You became the martyr. I didn't do anything wrong. I was just driving. You cut me off. I let you know about it, and then you're mad at me. That's what this is. These protests are from people that hate our country. Half the country hates the president. That's dangerous. I've always said, I think we need to start getting back to where it's a president that can be relatable to both sides of the aisle.
[00:35:11] Speaker C: Jimmy Carter is still around.
[00:35:12] Speaker A: Bernie Sanders. Jimmy Carter died. Be nice.
[00:35:15] Speaker C: He's still alive. That's alive.
[00:35:16] Speaker A: He's Weekend at Bernie's. Weekend at Jimmy's. No, he's. We. We can still bring him out. But he's not alive. No.
[00:35:21] Speaker C: Anyway, remember. Do you ever listen to Eddie Izzard? I'm going to change topics.
[00:35:25] Speaker A: I love Eddie Izzard.
[00:35:26] Speaker C: To do any. So any. Eddie Izzard has a bit from a long time ago about bringing Reagan back from the dead. And he's like, that's what we'll do to scare all these other countries. America's just going to elect a dead president that they were kind of terrified from when he was alive. But now that he's dead, they're going to be extra terrified and no one's ever going to mess with them again. And I think about that bit all of the time.
[00:35:47] Speaker A: Sam, queue it up. Let's have some. Eddie as a. We've already lost the show. I just looked at my articles. I Just glanced over to see if there's anything I have to get today and I don't. You know, Anthony, you always want to just discuss things and not go through the articles. Today's your day, so let's go back to the end of this.
[00:36:01] Speaker C: Pretty entertaining, though. I think this has been the most fun we've had in a while. Yeah, because of all your obnoxious statements last weekend.
[00:36:08] Speaker A: No, and I said, I'm doubling down this week. Yes. Close the borders, bring in martial law, you know, and then half the country can be. Right.
But I also, I mean, you know, watching some of the videos of burning the flag, part of what bugs me about that, I don't think that should be part of our First Amendment rights. And I'll tell you why. And you know my opinion, Anthony. I don't want to know the technical aspects of flag burning. The First Amendment, I just don't give a shit.
[00:36:32] Speaker C: No, I'm going to talk about flags being made into underwear and bathing suits because I'm Pretty sure that's 100% against the flag code. But we'll identify.
[00:36:40] Speaker A: You have flag underwear, Anthony. And by the way, I mean, I. Gross. But okay, so hear me out for a second. I saw some of the videos of people burning the flag and I was like, they're flying a flag of a different country while they're protesting. This whole thing supposedly 100% agree.
It started because you're saying, you know, you don't want to be deported. This thing in LA started because they were fighting ice, the Immigration Custom Enforcement ice. If you came here illegally, it's illegal. Is there a confusion in the word illegal? So they're going to deport you because for four years it wasn't illegal. For some reason you're just, you know, you're trying to escape violence and now you're going to bring violence here. So you're flying the flag of a country south of us. I won't name names. You know, I haven't seen any Canadian flags right now, so I guess you can presume it's Mexico. So you're flying the Mexican flag and you're protesting not being flown to Mexico and then you're burning the flag of the country you want to stay in. And you know what my heartburn is? I was in the military. One of the things. And let me go back a little bit. My high school, I had a different experience than you, Anthony, and probably you, Sam, and most people. I went to an all boys Catholic military boarding school outside of Chicago, Illinois. It was called Marmion Military Academy. So I was raised thinking the flag was more important. We did the pledge every morning. We had to face the flag. We. And one of the other things, side note to Marmion, one thing that was really good for me, we had to shoot, shoot every week. We had to qualify at the range. It was 22 long rifles, standing, kneeling, prone. So I had some background with the second Amendment. I had some history lessons on it, on how important it is and it may be one day in our future.
So I went to a military school that was actually more military training than when I went active duty. I actually joined the military. I wasn't drafted. I joined the military on my own and did that for four years. And I'll tell you what, burning the flag, and I need to get the exact numbers, but I did do a little glance. What happens if you burn a flag in Mexico? There's a fine and a prison sentence. The fine ranges and this is pesos. So I'm going to put it into dollars. It ranges from $14 to $150 fine if you're caught burning a Mexican flag. But that's coupled with six months to four years in prison.
So let's just replicate, you know, when we said reciprocal on the tariffs. Let's just do reciprocal punishment on flag burning in this country like they would in any other country. Some countries that will shoot you burn a North Korean flag. See what they do to you. Go to Iran where they, they burn our flag in Iran and say death to Israel, death to us. So in Mexico, you know, they will put you in prison if you burn their flag.
The irony is not escaped by me. Oh, quick sideline because there is one thing I want to bring up as a follow up to last week. If all we're going to talk about is riots this week, I do want to throw this out there. Remember when I talked about a man came from China with a biohazard from. From China to Michigan to the University.
[00:39:43] Speaker C: Of Michigan, brought his own bat.
[00:39:47] Speaker A: Yeah, his own bat. It was a deadly fungus, which is funny because, you know, so another one was caught this week. So a third Chinese citizen smuggle in some deadly fungus. You know, Anthony, when I say that, you know, 10 things are going to happen at once. Is it going to be the riots? Is it going to be a deadly fungus starting in Michigan and traveling around the country. What, what is going to, you know, be the spark that sets all this off?
Was it athletes? But Sam, that's just silly. It's. That would be bad though. That would be an inconvenience because if you get athletes foot right after you have to go downtown in protest. Oh, by the way, the Zoom meeting that no Kings held last night on the 11th of June apparently had over 4,000 people attend. And these are people that are like, they call them marshals or something. They're people that are organizing stuff. So. And there's another Zoom set for tonight and there's another Zoom set for tomorrow night to get ready. And then there's a Zoom set and all this is on their website. Anthony, I got an article. I sent you an article. There's a link right in there to their website, so they're not hiding it. And then on Monday there's like a video, there's a zoom on what happened over the weekend, how it went. So. But the last night was apparently on training on how to agitate the police without getting shot.
So I think it's going to be interesting. But we will see.
It's going to be hot this weekend. Maybe I should go around all the sites and like sell $5 bottles of water to all the protesters. Genius, Genius. You know what I'm thinking too, because looking at the ones in la, they bring kids for Pete's sake too. So that's great. They want to have gym.
We'll have ice cream and water bottles. I was going to say Otter Pops. What do they call Bomb Pops. Oh, those are good too. But those are too big. Otter pops. You fit 200 of them in a big good sized cooler. Not a yeti though, because we have to boycott yeti because they're boycotting.
Bomb Pops are probably too patriotic for that crowd anyway. Oh, that's right. We need one that's just like red and yellow. We need like a North Korean Pop.
So. And Anthony, do I think it's kind of weird optics and do I think I don't want them to spend the money for the parade? Absolutely I do. And you know what? I can have an opinion about all this at once. I can think it's wrong to celebrate with a parade on Donald Trump's birthday. I also think it's, you know, it's. I mean, it's not lost on people that it's Flag Day. It's also the 250th birthday of the army. So a lot going on on one day.
I wonder if Saturday fizzles out. If we just spent the entire show talking about a nothing burger and it fizzles out.
Are they done? Because this is the big one. I mean, this is the. From what I can tell. And maybe you two can help me if I'm wrong. This is the biggest organized protest in the history of this country.
So if it fizzles out, we'll see what happens. Anthony, you're going to bring up the original Civil War. Was that the biggest protest? That was actually just the war. This is the pre.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: I don't think this is going to be bigger than BLM protests. But. And that was only.
[00:42:49] Speaker A: What about.
What about everybody drinking during prohibition? That was pretty big protests. Yes, but it wasn't. The people were drinking. I mean, that's good on them. You know, marijuana's legal now. I think you. Instead of selling Otter Pops or Bomb Pops or water, you should sell joints. Let's get these people mellow. Oh, and then I'll go buy and sell them Cheetos. Let's figure this out.
I don't know. I mean, I think that this has nothing to do with civil war. It's what that is meant to lead into civil war. I think they want Trump to overreact. Some of the posts that I've read are like, you know, this parade, there's gonna be tanks and there's gonna be horses and there's gonna be this and that. They could just as easily move this equipment to squash. That's why they're, oddly enough, in the 1800 protests. Guess where there's not one. True story.
Washington, D.C. they're not having one near that parade. If you only did one, wouldn't you put it right next to the parade to show some compare and contrast? Wouldn't you. Wouldn't the biggest one by far be in dc?
No, they're not that dumb. Because what if these tanks actually have.
[00:44:02] Speaker C: Tenement square of the United States?
[00:44:04] Speaker A: Correct. We're gonna have a little Chinese man standing in front of the tank. We have a little. So, you know, you brought up blm.
Awfully quiet around BLM right now. I mean, this seems like a different protest. When I watched all the videos, I did notice that there were not a lot of African Americans. So I'm not sure. I think they're laying back with popcorn saying, good Lord, you know, this is a lot bigger than what we did. But, I mean, it's, to me, the big picture. The 10 pillars, every single one of the 10 pillars that we brought up three years ago in order.
It hasn't gotten better. When I said last week, Anthony, that it's real easy how I approach the future. I look back five years, I look back 10 years, and then I look forward five years and 10 years, very simple. Do I think things are going to be the same, better or worse? All I have is my opinion. I have history if that's any indication to look at.
I think it's an everything problem in this country. I think we're broke. I think when you get to seven.
[00:45:12] Speaker C: But I think financial debt of this country doesn't matter.
It's not like you're right personal checkbook.
[00:45:19] Speaker A: But have you heard another money show over the last few years? Do you think that the BRICS nations including Zimbabwe that's trying to get in. Do you think that they are? You know you sent me an article which I will not probably get to today. You sent me an article.
China may make retaliatory moves.
Experts say we'll hit USA homeowners.
[00:45:40] Speaker C: It's more on the foreign owned mortgage backed securities and just the treasury bonds failing.
[00:45:47] Speaker A: Are they dumping our bonds?
[00:45:48] Speaker C: Bad debt anymore?
[00:45:50] Speaker A: Are other countries tired of us and they're not buying our bonds at our auctions and are they dumping our bonds?
[00:45:55] Speaker C: Luckily our Fed will buy all our bonds. Correct.
[00:45:58] Speaker A: Our Fed. That's 37 trillion debt. That's good. So we're going to double down.
[00:46:01] Speaker C: Not the federal government. The Fed controls all the money. They're rich.
[00:46:05] Speaker A: Okay?
[00:46:06] Speaker C: They're the Rockefellers.
[00:46:07] Speaker A: They're rich.
[00:46:07] Speaker C: You got all that oil money from.
[00:46:09] Speaker A: Saudi Arabia or you're talking about the families? You're talking about the Federal Reserve which is neither. They're not federal and there's no reserve. That one.
They don't have any money.
[00:46:16] Speaker C: They put it like that.
[00:46:19] Speaker A: When you want to be a little. When you want to do that.
I don't know that it's going to be a bunch of stuff at once. I don't think we should lose sight. I'm the only one talking about it right now probably. I don't think we should lose sight of Russia and Ukraine. I don't think that's over. I know that there was a few more. You know there was some excitement while I was in laughing. I didn't even click on any of the stuff I just saw. There was stuff going on. I think the gorilla in the room by far is Israel and Iran.
I think that's the, the only thing that should really scare people right now. But if Iran and Israel do a direct conflict we're going to get sucked in. Russia's going to get sucked in. And wouldn't that be an outstanding time for China to go into Taiwan? This country spread thin. You heard me talk about Jamie Demon last week and he said that we only have seven days worth of stuff for a war. We're broke. We, you know, in the last 20 years, our politicians have decimated our country. You know that, right? They drained the strategic oil reserve the last four years did. I have no idea if that's been refilled. I can't seem to find that information. They, they, you know, previous administrations, they docked military watercraft, they gutted the military, they fired generals. I mean, they, they did a lot to make us weaker militarily.
So I, I think this.
We're in the most unchartered territory we have ever been in by so far. So. And I do think that we would. Anthony, just keep going. We just keep going.
There's no money. Who gives a crap?
[00:47:54] Speaker C: Or keep going until we don't. That's how history works. It does until it doesn't.
[00:47:59] Speaker A: But you have always said that we can just keep going. But now you just said.
[00:48:03] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I didn't say that. Like saying is we do until we don't like it. Just because it should collapse tomorrow doesn't mean it's going to collapse tomorrow. If it collapsed tomorrow, would it surprise me? Absolutely not. All I'm saying is that it does.
So it could be tomorrow, could be another 10 years from now. It could outlive all of us. Who knows?
[00:48:24] Speaker A: Well, none of it makes sense.
[00:48:25] Speaker C: It's all done. Oh, should we bring up that movie again? Boom, bust, boom. I think it's still for free on YouTube. Watch it and tell us we're wrong.
So good.
[00:48:36] Speaker A: Love it. It is really good. It is. That movie is outstanding. It's easy to watch. It's so you know what you need to do? You need to watch Boom bus, boom on YouTube and then shift over and find where you can watch the big short.
And then think about something like what we're in right now. You know, think about the debt we're in right now. Think about the bond market. Think about bitcoin and all these cryptocurrencies. By the way, did I mention over the last few weeks that I invested into a cryptocurrency? Reach out to me if you want to know which one and how to get in on it. It's kind of like a Ponzi. What do you.
Pyramid scheme. Yes. So reach out to me and I will get you under me and then you'll get a bonus for doing so and I'll get extra coins. And so we're first funnel system.
[00:49:18] Speaker C: It's no longer a pyramid. We've inverted it.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: Correct. Look at you stealing my thunder with the funnel.
So should we get to any articles? I know we. How, Sam, how much time do we have left?
[00:49:29] Speaker C: Yeah, 47 seconds. Make it quick.
[00:49:31] Speaker A: We have five minutes remaining in the show. And yeah, those, I think. Boom, bust, boom. I started watching it. Watch that with your dad this weekend. Father's Day weekend. Sit down, watch a little movie with dad.
[00:49:46] Speaker C: Happy Father's Day JR for this weekend.
[00:49:49] Speaker A: I forgot. That's coming up too.
What did you get me? A bus trip to a riot.
[00:49:56] Speaker C: I get you some bricks.
Congratulations.
[00:49:59] Speaker A: I got you a pallet.
Yeah. Father's Day.
I hope everybody has a good day. If you're listening to this on Saturday, I hope tomorrow's a good day and I hope you've been safe. And nothing goes south. So it's funny because this is the first time we've ever done this where we've just talked about a news story and not gone, bam, bam, bam.
[00:50:17] Speaker C: What was this?
[00:50:18] Speaker A: It was kind of fun. But I think you look at the.
[00:50:21] Speaker C: Screen and you look at my sunglasses and you look at the light that I got. It looks like little eyeballs.
[00:50:27] Speaker A: If you're listening to us on the radio and you're not sure what Anthony's talking about.
[00:50:31] Speaker C: Anthony, put on this should be our YouTube clip. I've been doing this for probably the last 10 minutes. It's been very entertaining.
[00:50:39] Speaker A: Okay, so should we move on? Should we do an article or two? Or should we just end here and talk about.
[00:50:45] Speaker C: Yeah, that's why people are listening. They want the articles. Give them what they want, Junior.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: And the articles are really going to be a letdown compared to what we just went over with the riot.
Let's just do a couple real quick because you know I love talking about reckless spending. I'll hold off on the banks this week. Just a little hint for you. The banks are still broke. They have 1.3% coverage through the FDIC. Reach out to us and we'll show you how to find proof of that.
[00:51:06] Speaker C: Yeah, but it was 1.1 coverage. So now they're at 1.3. I mean, that's huge returns.
[00:51:12] Speaker A: That's. It's pretty amazing. Sell all your gold and silver. Gold is back around 3400 an ounce now. So it's a good time to sell it and put that money in the bank into a check in savings or cd.
Here's a couple. I'll read the title and we won't have a lot of time, but let's get to a couple of these. On June 5th on MSN.com audit fraudsters stole $79 billion in COVID 19 aid using false Social Security numbers. Says here, a federal committee tasked with tracking the Pandemic Assistance Fraud Fund found that Small Business Administration and the Department of Labor together dispersed nearly 80 billion to potential fraudsters. In total, the federal government spent over 4.6 trillion on all COVID 19 relief programs. The SBA received an extra 957 billion to fund its Economic Injury Disaster Loan program and its Paycheck Protection program, which the DOL received 695 billion for its COVID 19 unemployment fund.
There's one thing here that's important.
To conduct the analysis, investigators randomly sampled 662,000.
That's pretty good sampling identity records from the 67.5 million million applicants across the three programs. In almost 24,000 cases, the Social Security number, date of birth and name of the applicant did not match the Social Security Administration's records. In some instances, the Social Security number submitted by the applicant did not exist. That's pretty cool.
[00:53:00] Speaker C: They would have checked that first.
